Chief of Muthahida Quami Movement Altaf Hussain has said that the divide and rule politics in Sindh ended today while addressing the Prosperous Sindh public rally organized by his party by phone at Sukkur on Friday.
A large number of people attended the MQM rally and the venue at Railway Station Ground and the surrounding areas were bedecked with the photographs of Altaf Hussain and posters of the party.
Terming Sukkur rally historic Altaf Hussain called the day the day of Sindh’s unity adding that people of all faiths and languages.
Altaf Hussain said that Sindh contributes 70 per cent to the national treasury and if it is provided its rightful share the feudal system could be eradicated.
If Sindh doesn’t contribute this massive revenue could the federation be able to run the country, he asked.
Altaf Hussain said that people from the poor segment of the society should be brought into the parliament by ending eradicating the hereditary politics.
