Muttahida Qaumi Movement holding a public rally in Sukkur today, while Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) holding its rally in Karachi near Mazar-e-Quaid to be addressed by Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the top leader of the party.
MQM chief Altaf Hussain will address the public meeting on telephone from London. The party has completed arrangements for the rally.
The Railway Station Ground and surrounding area in Sukkur has been decorated for the rally.
MQM Deputy Convener Dr Farroq Sattar visited the venue and monitored the arrangements.
Tight security arrangements have been made for the rally as a large number of policemen have been deployed on the venue.
